About Ashish Sanghrajka

Ashish Sanghrajka entered the travel business from his earliest memory as a child growing up in Kenya. He has always been a keen adventurer, climbing Mt Kilimanjaro by the age of 14, rafting his first category 5 rapid before 15 and jumping out of an airplane by the age of 18 and racing cars semi-professionally on closed tracks by the age of 21. With a background in finance and economics, Ashish started his professional career as an institutional trader and economic analyst with a Fortune 500 firm, however his passion for travel resurfaced.

Working his way up from the mailroom, Ashish now serves as the President of  Big Five Tours & Expeditions, a luxury tour operator featuring custom tailored journeys in Africa, Asia, the South Pacific, Antarctica, and Latin America.
